Equinox started in Manchester, Vermont — a small crew that treats event production like hospitality, not a black box. Better gear helps, but so does showing up early, listening hard, and staying calm when the plan changes.

We're still based here. Our work takes us across New England and beyond. Same crew, same standard — whether it's a museum gala, a resort wedding, or a Friday conference call that grew into something bigger than expected.

Doug Kunnath

Executive Producer

Doug has spent over twenty years in the room — audio engineer, producer, Director of Global Accounts — and started Equinox because the best events run on service, not showmanship. He still takes the discovery calls, walks the venues, and stays reachable on show day.

The Equinox Process

Six steps from the first email to load-out. No mystery about what happens next, what we need from you, or how long each part takes.

1 — You reach out

Tell us the type of event, when, where, and roughly how many guests. If you don't know everything yet, say so — that's useful too.

2 — Discovery call

A short call about the event you're producing and the audience you're serving. No sales pressure — sometimes we recommend you do it in-house.

3 — Site walk-through

For venues we haven't worked, we visit: power, sight-lines, cable paths. This is the step most vendors skip. We don't.

4 — Custom proposal

A written proposal sized to your event — every line of gear, crew, hours, and cost. Ways to spend less or more, named clearly.

5 — Pre-production

Run-of-show, vendor coordination, shop testing, and backup gear for anything critical. Quiet on your end — we're working.

6 — Show day

Early arrival, quiet setup, every cue rehearsed before guests. When something shifts, we solve it before you notice.
