Hildene Volunteer Appreciation Dinner — Lincoln Hall.
Lincoln Hall at Hildene — Manchester, VT — August 28, 2025

One hundred and twenty-five volunteers. A daytime celebration built to honor the people who keep Hildene running.

The Hildene Volunteer Appreciation Dinner honors about 125 people who give their time to the Lincoln Family Home — a property in continuous care since 1905. The volunteers who maintain it and guide visitors through it treat that responsibility personally. The afternoon should feel like it belongs to them.

We built a full PA system — four speakers distributed through Lincoln Hall, with wireless antenna distribution for a clean signal. Conversational levels during the meal; clear audio for the program. A wireless podium mic kept every speaker on the same footing, with clean handoffs between remarks.

The Friends Walk induction ceremony — recognizing four volunteers for exceptional dedication — needed its own care. Inductees came forward to speak; a video tribute played as part of the ceremony. Presentation support covered PowerPoint, holding slides, video playback, and live transitions between segments. Lighting highlighted Lincoln Hall’s architecture for a daytime celebration that felt warm rather than theatrical.

Pangaea Restaurant in North Bennington catered. Hildene’s staff coordinated the guest experience. Our job was to keep the technology quiet so the afternoon could stay about the people in it.

In Their Words
“Equinox made our volunteer appreciation dinner truly special. Their attention to detail and understanding of our historic venue helped create an evening that perfectly honored our dedicated volunteers and made the Friends Walk induction ceremony unforgettable.”
