The Bennington Museum’s annual gala is their most important fundraising night. It happens in the galleries, among the collection. From the first year, the ask was straightforward: event-scale production in a museum-scale space, without letting either fight the other.
Wireless microphones with antenna distribution kept a clean signal through the galleries, working with the venue’s existing sound system. The auctioneer had consistent audio for the live and silent auction segments. Guests across the room could hear bid acknowledgments and program moments clearly.
A video switcher managed sponsor slides, logos, live auction items, and silent auction content — live transitions, no dead air on the displays. Perimeter uplighting warmed the space in amber; four uplights on the entry pillars greeted guests outside. Too corporate and the room loses the museum; too casual and the evening loses focus. The balance is the work.
The museum asked us back in 2024 and 2025. Glad to keep doing it.
